Karen Gaudin received her Honours Psychology Bachelor of Arts undergraduate degree in 2010 from Grant MacEwan University; and her Masters of Counselling Psychology graduate degree in 2020 from City University of Seattle. Karen completed her thesis research in the area of student alcoholism screenings; in which the findings were presented at the AARE Conference in 2011 and proceedings published thereafter. Karen is passionate about and specializes in, the area of addictions; she has worked in the addictions industry collectively for 15 years. She worked at Homewood Health for 11 years as an Addictions Program Manager, and was the Addictions Clinical Lead at Insight Psychological from 2020-2023. Karen is a Registered Psychologist as of May 2022, and she enjoys providing both counselling and assessments services to teens, adults, older adults, couples and families. Most recently Karen’s new private practice ‘Authentic You Psychology’ opens up for business as of November 6th, 2023! Karen is honoured to be a part of this helping profession, she really hopes to make a difference in her client’s lives, and in the mental health and addictions community.
