Karen works with individuals experiencing addiction, ADHD, trauma, anxiety, depression, and mood or personality-related concerns. She also supports clients navigating relationship challenges, self-esteem issues, and life transitions.

Her therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, Exposure Therapies, and Somatic Mind-Body practices. She provides sex and gender therapy and works with LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and neurodivergent communities, offering an inclusive and affirming space informed by lived experience as a neurodivergent and queer psychologist. Karen’s work is collaborative, direct, and grounded in compassion, helping clients strengthen self-understanding and make meaningful, sustainable change.

Karen founded Authentic You in November 2023 to create a practice rooted in authenticity, connection, and collaboration—where both clients and clinicians can show up as their true selves.
